Chapter Archivist

 

  1. Builds and maintains a strong relationship with Secretary.
  2. Retrieves/receives data from Secretary at scheduled times.
  3. Ensures that the Retention Schedule is kept current; makes recommendations for changes if required.
  4. Prepares and arranges hard copy archival records for transfer to Glenbow Archives.
  5. Maintains an inventory of all hard copy archival records transferred to Glenbow Archives.
  6. Maintains an inventory of inactive records.
  7. Retain inactive records prior to disposition.
  8. Upon approval from the Board, implements the disposition process for those records eligible for destruction.
  9. Retains electronic copies of inactive or archived records which will provide reference/research value only for the operations of the current Board.
  10. Liaises with ARMA International on retention and archival issues.
  11. Prepares and keeps current the Chapter history.
  12. Drafts a budget for the Board of Directors.
  13. Attends all Chapter and Board of Director meetings.
  14. All Board-appointed positions are responsible for maintaining the values of the Chapter and ARMA International.
