Please note new location! This event WILL NOT be at the Chamber of Commerce. The info session will take place in Great Rooms 1&2 on the Atrium Level at the Sandman Hotel.  To access you can take the escalator or the elevator.  Select the Atrium option is using the latter. There will be signage.

TOPIC:
"How can ARMA International enhance the RIM profession and the professional?"

SYNOPSIS:
Your elected ARMA International Board of Directors and ARMA Headquarters staff continuously work hard to enhance the RIM profession and the professional. Komal encourages you to have a better understanding of how your membership in the Association can enhance your career; to learn to scan the information governance environment and identify opportunities that relate to our profession; how the 2012-2013 ARMA International strategic plan is designed to enhance the profession and the professional. What does the roadmap look like?

Komal would like this to be an interactive event. She wants to hear what you have to say about ARMA International’s direction and initiatives, and what ARMA needs to do to further benefit your membership in the Association and improve your career. This is your opportunity to ask questions from your ARMA International elected leaders.

 

BIO

Komal Gulich is the current President-Elect of ARMA International. She will be stepping into the position of President on July 1st, 2012.

Komal has been a member of ARMA International since 1992. She has served on the board of directors of ARMA International since 2008. Prior to that, she has been the Region Manager of Great Lakes Region, a member of the CRM Examination Development Committee, Chair of the Utilities Industry Action Committee, Chapter President of the Cleveland Chapter, and held every position on the Akron/Canton Chapter.

In her real life, Komal is the Manager - Enterprise Records Management at First Energy Service Company. FirstEnergy is a diversified energy company dedicated to safety, reliability and operational excellence. Headquartered in Akron, Ohio, FirstEnergy comprises the nation's largest investor owned electric system.

Komal has been with FirstEnergy for 30+ years. In her current role, she manages the records management program for all of FirstEnergy - this includes the utility's fossil and nuclear generation plants, all subsidiaries and corporate headquarters.
